Experience:

With more than 15 years of public relations/marketing experience, Bernadette Geyer is the former Director of Outreach Programs for the US Fuel Cell Council. She also served for two years as Associate Editor of WordWrights literary journal, and is former Editor-in-Chief of The Word Works, an independent, literary non-profit in the Washington, DC, area.

Geyer has extensive experience writing, proofreading and editing:

In her positions at WordWrights and The Word Works, Geyer has performed editing/proofreading duties on chapbooks, full-length books and literary magazines. Works proofread include Crow's Eye View, a full-length collection of Lee Sang's poems and prose, translated by Myong-Hee Kim. Geyer also proofread the poetry collections: One Hundred Children Waiting for a Train, by Michael Atkinson, Eight Pale Women, by James Hopkins, and Phoenix Suites, by Miles Waggener, as well as several other poetry collections and organization newsletters.










Proofreading Rates:

Business Documents / Non-fiction / Creative Writing
$2.50 per page ($4.00 per page for technical documents). $10.00 minimum charge.

Poetry Manuscripts/Galleys
$100.00 for a manuscript/galley up to 75 pages in length. Longer manuscripts may incur slightly higher fees. Please contact for additional information.





Press Release Writing Rates:

$50.00 for 1st draft; $10/round for edits/changes.






Monthly Headliner Industry Newsletter:

$2000 / month - includes research, writing, editing, formatting in Microsoft Word, 5-7 pages including table of contents, acknowledgements. For examples of my work, visit:
