With more than 15 years of public relations/marketing experience, Bernadette Geyer is the former Director of Outreach Programs for the US Fuel Cell Council. She also served for two years as Associate Editor of WordWrights literary journal, and is former Editor-in-Chief of The Word Works, an independent, literary non-profit in the Washington, DC, area.

$2.50 per page ($4.00 per page for technical documents). $10.00 minimum charge.
Poetry Manuscript Drafts/Galleys (note updated rate for this service)
$200.00 for a POETRY manuscript draft or galley of up to 75 pages in length (8.5" x 11" standard paper size, 1" margins, double-spaced, at least 11-point font size). Longer manuscripts may incur slightly higher fees. The $200.00 fee applies to each manuscript draft a poet wants to be proofread. Please contact for additional information.

Prose/Non-Fiction Manuscript Drafts/Galleys (note updated rate for this service)
Drafts or galleys of prose and non-fiction manuscripts follow the $2.50 per page fee (8.5" x 11" standard paper size, 1" margins, double-spaced, font size 11-point or higher). Fees apply to each manuscript draft. Please contact for additional information.

Proofreading of a separate index will be charged at an additional $25/hr.
